I haven't been thrifting for a whole. I was surprised by the prices. However I did get 2 Ruggable rugs in excellent condition for $2.99 a piece!!! Everything looks adorable as usual. Loved seeing Jason.

I don’t particularly enjoy going to thrift stores because the prices are outrageous for items they got donated to them. I think you’re better off going to the clearance section in your local stores.

Went to goodwill tonight they had the 3 lil monkeys …see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil… they were selling them for $8 a pc…. What???? First of all it’s a set 2nd $24 for 2 small monkeys CRAZY

I just watched Jason on the "fading away" video. I know you have comments turned off but really wanted to respond to this touching and hard to watch video. My husband died a year ago this month. He endured over a decades battle with dementia. Just a few months before he died we saw an elder care attorney to review some paperwork and she asked him about his two adult children. He replied that his kids had "given up on him." She and I were shocked at his knowledge and insight about a very real situation. At that point my husband was in the late stage of dementia and I had no idea that he still had the cognitive capacity to process this. Jason is clearly aware of this happening to him and my heart is breaking for both of you. I have watched you for years and want you to know that you are a great caregiver. My Alan and your Jason pre dementia were good men and even with behavior changes from dementia have held on the best they can to their humanity.

True many people are buying things to flip on Ebay and other sites. Goodwill should not expect to sell the stuff at Ebay prices - they got the stuff for free! If the Goodwill would price the items low, giving the flippers enough room to profit from them, they would sell a whole lot more stuff rather than having it sit there and then sending it off to the bins.

The prices are ridiculously high! Somethings you can purchase the same items on the clearance rack at the discount stores for less.Did you know you can return certain items at the Goodwill store? Totally blew my mind!
